We are Hartshill Bible Church (HBC) and we meet at the Willows Primary School, Penkhull, every Sunday at 10:30am in the sports hall.
Hartshill Church is like a family; a mixture of ages, backgrounds, and experiences, who love to hear about, talk about and praise God together.
Please feel free to join us as we are a friendly bunch, a mixture of ages, backgrounds and experiences, who love to hear about, talk about and praise God together.
Our leadership team here at Hartshill is comprised of our pastor and 3 elders who lead in the spiritual welfare of the Church.
Hello, I'm Nelu Cozea from Romania. I'm married to Georgina and we have two beautiful daughters. I became pastor of HBC in 2019.
God's word is central to all that we do at HBC and so we aim to teach from the Bible in a way that impacts our everyday lives.
A Sunday gathering at Hartshill doesn't finish with the closing song.
Please stay around and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a friendly chat.
There's always someone who would love to listen or answer questions about what you have just heard.
There is one God, who exists eternally in three distinct but equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is unchangeable in his holiness, justice, wisdom and love. He is the almighty Creator; Saviour and Judge who sustains and governs all things according to his sovereign will for his own glory.
God has revealed himself in the Bible, which consists of the Old and New Testaments alone. Every word was inspired by God through human authors, so that the Bible as originally given is in its entirety the Word of God, without error and fully reliable in fact and doctrine. The Bible alone speaks with final authority and is always sufficient for all matters of belief and practice.
The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life in obedience to the Father. He taught with authority and all his words are true. On the cross he died in the place of sinners, bearing God's punishment for their sin, redeeming them by his blood. He rose from the dead and in his resurrection body ascended into heaven where he is exalted as Lord of all. He intercedes for his people in the presence of the Father.
Our doctrinal distinctives set out the doctrines that are taught at HBC. To this end, the pastor and elders are required to have a much deeper and extensive knowledge of the Bible and this is reflected in their teaching. A more detailed summary of the Christian Faith is found in the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith which governs the teaching at Hartshill.
